Transportation

The transportation department of the Grand Valley Metropolitan Council ( GVMC ) is in charge of implementing the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) planning process as included in US code 23, Section 450.300. Environmental justice and air quality conformity are incorporated in the planning process. Input from the public is sought whenever plans and programs are developed throughout the region.
