As mentioned earlier, community leaders from each jurisdiction in the study area were interviewed to determine transportation needs.  As a result of those interviews, the segments on the map above were noted as in need of some type of improvement.  Suggested improvements from each jurisdiction were taken into consideration while developing the final study recommendations.

With portions of 48^th Avenue, 68^th Avenue and Warner Street being potentially targeted for increased traffic, such things as access control, setbacks and/or impact fee requirements/policies should be considered for these roadways before development occurs.  The township is also anticipating that certain intersections in their community may need traffic signals.  These intersections will need to be studied to determine if traffic volumes and accident patterns warrant signalization.
