As mentioned earlier, community leaders from each jurisdiction in the study area were interviewed to determine transportation needs.  As a result of those interviews, the segments on the map above were noted as in need of some type of improvement.  Suggested improvements from each jurisdiction were taken into consideration while developing the final study recommendations.

With M-6 scheduled to open in 2005, portions of Wilson Avenue, 68^th Street and possibly 84^th Street will likely experience increased traffic.  These roadways and anticipated developments should consider such things as access control, building setbacks and/or impact fee requirements/policies.
