Several existing parks are scattered throughout the township, but at present no designated non-motorized facilities exist.  Two new major parks and numerous non-motorized facilities are proposed within the township, as the map above shows.  These include:

• A large proposed mixed-use Georgetown Township Park along the Grand River,

• The Ottawa County Park Department’s proposed Grand River Greenway non-motorized trail along or near the Grand River, and

• A number of designated non-motorized paths, some of which are along roads and some of which are separated from the road, within the township.

 The majority of the non-motorized trail information shown on map above was provided by Georgetown Township.
