As mentioned earlier, community leaders from each jurisdiction in the study area were interviewed to determine transportation needs.  As a result of those interviews, the segments on the map above were noted as in need of some type of improvement.  Suggested improvements from each jurisdiction were taken into consideration while developing the final study recommendations.  In addition, the community of Hudsonville has requested that a new interchange for 48^th Avenue and I-196 be considered to relieve anticipated growth at the 32^nd Street Interchange.
