Unified Planning Work Program

 

The UPWP incorporates all federally assisted state, regional, and local transportation planning activities proposed to be undertaken in the region during the fiscal year as well as GVMC’s Transportation Department annual operating budget. The document serves as a roadmap for coordinating transportation planning efforts across Kent and eastern Ottawa counties and is required to receive federal transportation planning funds.

Unified Planning Work Programs

GVMC will begin developing the FY2027 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) in February 2026. For more information, please contact Laurel Joseph. The draft document will be posted online upon completion.
